Does this Mean I Can Call Myself a Published Author?

I submitted articles to a few Carnivals this week, and am really pleased to see that they were accepted. I have a stinking suspicion that every submission is accepted, but I’ve decided to pretend that they were “selected”.

I wrote a bit of a rant on politics in my post Politics is a Big Pile of Moose Poopy . It was included in the Carnival of Principled Government hosted at She’s Right, and at the Carnival of Political Punditry at I’m a Pundit Too, which I did on a lark as I poke at pundits in my post. I was surprised that one was accepted. I wonder if The Pundit actually read the post…

Is it a faux pas to submit the same article to more than one carnival? Hmmmm. I hadn’t thought about that before…
I was also included in the Festival of Frugality, Quotable Edition. Dawn did a great job pulling fun quotes from each submission, including We use Brita pitchers, as our tap water is legally potable but honestly, I’d rather lick tar,” from my post Gross and Not-So-Gross Ways to Save Water, and Money ! Really, a fun way to do a carnival.

I’m thrilled that my article There’s a Worm in My Apple was an Editor’s Choice over at the Carnival of Money Stories over at Money Myths.  Yay me!

Thanks to all who included me. I invite you to check out the carnivals, as there are some great posts included!

I did read every entry. And since I did omit two of them, you were “selected.” You are special. :)

Charity, I could tell that you read it – I was referring to The Pundit. I’ve edited the post to make that clear. ;)

Thank you for “selecting” me. I do feel special. :)

    Yay you! All great posts!!

I don’t really know anything about political carnivals, but I guarantee the finance ones, as a past and future host not everything gets in. Congrats! :)

Off to check out my own status in the aforementioned finance carnivals lol.

YAY You!! I am not venturing into the carnival mode yet, on either blog

Actually, I did select yours. But in all honesty, I only tossed out one submission from this weeks carnival. I include almost every one of the submissions if they aren’t spam. :-)

I read all submissions and filtered out 10 or so posts that were off-topic. I really like your post. I also like your article about saving water and money. Keep up the good work.
