If you’re local to South Florida and don’t already have a Sunpass, now is the time to get one.
I used to hardly ever use mine. I’d always take the non-toll roads to save money. But now with the price of gas hovering around $4 it makes sense to take the quickest route…
For a limited time if you buy a Sunpass transponder for $4.99 you get $4.99 in tolls loaded onto it. So it’s kinda free. Plus you’ll save 25 cents on all your tolls.
What are you waiting for?
Check back tomorrow for another great deal!

Thanks for the tip. But driving slower–like on non-toll roads–actually saves you gas.

Agreed, Brenda. As long as it isn’t stop and go, where you sit idling a great deal.
I mostly use it to go to my Dad’s. On the toll road it takes 8 minutes with one light. On the non-toll roads it takes thirty minutes with lots of lights. I can’t help but think that I’m saving money – or at least breaking even – with that kind of difference!

True. I grew up in Maine, so I tend not to take traffic into account.

Maine? Oh, I’ve always wanted to go there. I adore New England. The closest I’ve gotten is Vermont. Almost no traffic there!
